MCPON James M. Honea will participate in an in-depth discussion on three Calls to Action sent to Chief Petty Officers and CPO Selectees throughout the fleet. These Calls to Action focus on 1) Warfighting Competency, 2) Professional and Personal Development, and 3) Quality of Life.
Much like the real conversations held in a Chief's Mess, this SITREP will prompt open discussions around leadership, character, culture, and accountability. It will highlight the high standards that Chief Petty Officers must achieve, maintain, and teach.
It will also focus on the investment Chiefs must make in our Sailor's today to rise above our adversaries and support a stronger Navy and nation.
The SITREP Speaker Series brings the top minds in Navy leadership and gives them a platform to speak directly to the American public via live stream. This is a unique opportunity for Navy leadership to address a national audience, allowing this audience to ask questions about what the Navy is doing to defend our freedom and protect our way of life.
