The Navy Memorial Veteran Group Visit Program
Welcoming Veterans and Their Families from Active Duty Commands and Veteran Groups Across the Country
Thank You for Choosing the Navy Memorial for Your Veteran Group Visit
The United States Navy Memorial is happy to welcome all Service Members, Veterans, and their families. It is always a privilege to host Veteran Groups from across the country as each of you are at the center of our mission to Honor, Recognize and Celebrate the Men and women of the sea services, past, present and future; and to Inform the public about their service.
On your visit you can spend time on the Granite Sea. This large map of the world holds the original Lone Sailor Statue and is surrounded by 26 bas reliefs depicting various elements of the Sea Services. The space is perfect for eating lunch and for a group photo! Inside our Visitor Center, your group can discover exhibits on the Sea Services, including the National Chief ’s Mess, the Arleigh and Roberta Burke Theatre, and the Ship’s Store. The Visitors Center is air-conditioned and has bathrooms.
The Navy Memorial team will work to tailor each visit to the needs of your group.
