We Honor, Recognize, and Celebrate the men and women of the Sea Services, past, present, and future; and Inform the public about their service with FOUR unique pathWAYS of learning.
CHOOSE A LEARNING PATHWAY
Life at sea can be difficult and rewarding. Each of the Sea Services has different ways to honor and recognize the achievements of individuals and groups who do extraordinary things. The Navy Memorial Education team has created learning competitions for grades K to 12+ to participate in enrichment activities and be recognized for their efforts. +These activities, projects, and competitions, are also open to teachers, those interested in Sea Service history, Veterans, and more.+
There are 3 different ways to participate. Students can participate in the Sea Service Project (Grades 5-12+), Engagement Challenge (Grades K-12+), and Sea Service Video Challenge (Grades K-12+). Visit the Sea Service Competitions page below to learn more about these educational enrichment opportunities.
Educator Resources
The Navy Memorial has partnered with teachers to showcase their lessons and creativity utilizing the content we provide. Educators interested in sharing lessons and activities may be nationally recognized on the Navy Memorial website for the enrichment of students throughout the country.
