Help the United States Navy Memorial preserve the Sea Services' rich maritime history and leave a lasting legacy that will inform generations to come of veterans' stories.

Reflections of war or peacetime service are accepted. These accounts may be typed or hand written accounts, photos, biographies, anecdotes, sea stories, poems, or even prayers.

Submit a Photo

You can directly upload a digital photo in JPEG (.jpg) format under the 'Edit this Log' tab on the Log page.

Or email your photo in JPEG (.jpg) format to navylog@navymemorial.org. Please allow 5 business days for the photo to display in the Navy Log.

Or send us your photo by US Mail to the address shown at the bottom of the page. If you would like the photo back, please include a return envelope with a prepaid stamp. Please allow 10 to 15 business days for the photo to display in the Navy Log. Please include the following in the mail: (1) Full name of person in photo, (2) Place where photo was taken, and (3) Year photo was taken.

You can directly upload a scanned digital copy in JPEG (.jpg) format under the 'Edit this Log' tab on the Log page by clicking on the UPLOAD FILE button at the 'Add a Service Memory' box.

Or type your service memory at the “Add a Service Memory” box

Or email your digital file to navylog@navymemorial.org. Please allow 5 business days for the photo to display in the Navy Log.

Or send a copy of the Service Memory by US Mail to the address shown below. If you want the service memories back, please include a return envelope with a prepaid stamp. Please allow 10 to 15 business days for the Memories to display in the Navy Log. Please include identification of the Memory, including full name, birth date, and rate/rank.
