Captain Joseph L. Spruill, SC, USN (Ret.)

Captain Joe Spruill is a 1983 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He served over 25 years as a Supply Corps officer.  Duty stations ashore included staff duty with the office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Commander Surface Forces, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, and the Naval Supply Systems Command.  Afloat, he served in amphibious warfare vessels, fleet ballistic missile submarine, submarine tender and fast combat stores ship.  His final tour was as the Director of Logistics for the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Research Development and Acquisition).

Following his Navy career, he was the senior logistics analyst in the Office of the Under Secretary for Management in the Department of Homeland Security, was a Lead Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, and is currently a certified rowing coach for Capital Rowing Club, and the Industry Association Liaison for Logistics and Sustainment within Corporate Engineering, Technology, and Operations in the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
